See if contact lenses are for you. We will place contacts in your eyes and you can wear them around in the office. If you like the experience we can discuss contacts further, all at no charge.

Regular Eye Examination
Annual eye examinations allow the doctors at Total Eyecare & Eyewear Gallery to track the health of your eyes and watch for changes that may occur.

We all want to protect our eyesight and overall health for our families and ourselves. That is why annual eye exams are important.

No Dilation Computerized Retinal Imaging
The Optmap® allows Total Eyecare & Eyewear Gallery to obtain a 200-degree view of your retina without the use of dilating drops. This diagnostic test is the most advanced available for the detection of diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal holes, retinal defects, or optic nerve abnormality.

iZon Lenses
Total Eyecare & Eyewear Gallery offers customized iZon™ High Resolution Lenses for both single vision and progressive eyeglasses. The lenses are manufactured from a customized prescription unique to each patient. These are the first eyeglasses to correct for both visual acuity and quality of vision.

Corneal Topography Screening
Total Eyecare & Eyewear Gallery maps the shape of the cornea. This test helps detect the early stages of corneal disease and changes in the cornea due to over-wear of contacts.

Refractive Surgery Co-Management
When you are ready to pursue refractive surgery to correct your vision, be sure to ask Dr. Trusty about your options. He will work with you help you understand the process and can provide your post-operative care here at Total Eyecare & Eyewear Gallery.

Cataracts
Research indicates that the main reason for the development of “age related” cataracts is long term exposure to Ultra Violet or UV radiation. The main source of UV rays is from the Sun. So limiting your exposure to the sun by wearing a good quality pair of sunglasses is your best defense in preventing cataracts.

Glaucoma Screening and Management
Glaucoma can damage the optic nerve and lead to blindness if not treated timely. The disease often develops without systems so early diagnosis and treatment are important. Total Eyecare & Eyewear Gallery will administer a quick, painless test to check for Glaucoma. Dr Trusty is a certified glaucoma specialist and has experience in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma.

Diagnosis and Treatment of Ocular Disease and Injury
Dr. Trusty is therapeutically certified to diagnose and treat many diseases of the eye and will provide referral to a specialist, when necessary. Injuries to the eye or eye infections can cause serious damage to your eyesight.

SPORTS VISION
Dr. Trusty currently serves as the Team Optometrist for the University of North Texas and many other local schools. Let him put his experience to work for you.
